The body of a woman has been found in Queen Elizabeth Park in Grantham.

Police officers, who discovered the body, are unable to confirm at this time whether it is missing 55-year-old Alexandra Dryburgh.

Mrs Dryburgh, who is known to enjoy visiting the park, off Belton Lane, has not been seen since midday yesterday after she told her sister she was going for a walk.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and the search for Mrs Dryburgh has been suspended.
