Thieves steal heating oil from tank in yard of Grantham Truck Services

Thieves stole 900 litres of heating oil from a tank in the yard of Grantham Truck Services.

The theft at the Tollmache Road South premises happened between 6pm on Sunday, February 10th, and the following morning.

Lincolnshire Police is appealing for information and warning householders and businesses to review their heating oil tank security.

A police spokesman said: "Offenders got into the yard and stole 900 litres of heating oil from a tank.

"They would have used a vehicle that was either parked in Gorse Lane or in a layby on the A1 Southbound."

Anyone with any information should call the non emergency 101 number as soon as possible.
