The B6403 High Dyke is now open following the fire which started at Mid UK Recycling in Ancaster yesterday.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue has now put out the blaze at the Ermine Street recycling centre and firefighters have left the scene.

Both the A153 from Honington to Sleaford and the B6403 High Dyke from the A17 to the A52 were closed yesterday, with the A153 reopened several hours later.

The B6403 was expected to remain closed - due to smoke blowing across the road - until tomorrow.

But it has now been reopened.

Mid UK Recycling will be carrying out some reprocessing work over the next few weeks which may cause some smoke from time to time, but this should not cause any significant disruption.
